Dr. Rouhani is a second year Internal Medicine resident at Western University. He completed his Honours Bachelor in Biomedical Science with a focus on Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Ottawa, where he went on to obtain his medical degree in 2020. He has a particular interest in medical education and mentorship, and has been selected as an upcoming Chief Medical Resident in the Western IM program for the upcoming year. His research interests lie in cardiac and renal outcomes in the critical care population, as well as developing tools for diagnostics and risk stratification. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, cheering for FC Barcelona, alpine skiing, and searching for London’s finest pizza.
