Sean Cuninghame MD MSc – Dr. Cuninghame is an incoming Critical Care fellow joining the Critical Care Training program at Western University. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, he completed his medical school at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, followed by Internal Medicine Residency at Western in London, Ontario. Prior to medical school, Dr. Cuninghame did an MSc in Biology through Lakehead University examining metabolism in Oncogenic variants of HPV. He is working as part of the SAVE program with an interest in Post-ICU outcomes, particularly as they relate to cognitive dysfunction. Dr. Cuninghame grew up playing hockey on the outdoor rinks of northern Ontario and play Junior level hockey during his undergraduate years. He continues to play as part of a Resident-led team here in London.
