    Medical Student Trainee

My name is Asaanth and I’m currently a third-year medical student at the University of Western Ontario (London, Canada) with a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario). I have a budding interest in Anesthesia, Critical Care and Emergency Medicine and am grateful to have had the chance to contribute to research in these areas! I’m currently working on an exciting systematic review examining the effectiveness of patient positioning in RSI on patient safety outcomes. In my free time I love to be outdoors either hiking or playing ultimate frisbee – I recently travelled to Banff, Alberta and had a chance to hike several mountains and see some amazing views! I’m also an avid listener of podcasts my two favourites being Freakonomics and the Happiness Lab.
